Alex Toth y la ciencia ficción

Alex Toth (1928-2006 ) es uno de los dibujantes de cómics más admirado de todos los tiempos. Heredero de la escuela de Roy Crane, Noel Sickels, Milton Cannif, Frank Robbins, Hugo Pratt, admirador de los dibujantes españoles Jordi Bernet y Josep María Beá.

Autor todoterreno, trabajó además de en el cómic como dibujante de animación, y depuró su estilo hacia una exquisita sintésis gráfica, destacando en el uso de la iluminación y la puesta en escena. Cultivó todo tipo de géneros destacando en aviación, bélico, romance, noir y también con la ciencia ficción.
